… and best of all, they’re free!
We’ve been working hard at PopUp Domination to release new features that so that we can get better conversions, which we can share with you.
These five new features are the first of a number of improvements we will be making to PopUp Domination. If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see next, please contact us.
#1 – Ad Blocker Bypass Support
For a time, ad blockers did not affect PopUp Domination, but they’ve gotten a lot smarter recently, and we’re making sure that we keep up with them.
That’s why we’ve introduced an ad blocker bypass, so that your popups will display to more people.
Initially, you can expect to see a 5-20% improvement in conversions, but that number will go up as more bypass methods are added.
This is huge, because this small adjustment could add 20% to your bottom line!
#2 – Choose Where Popup Appears
This is one of the new features that we’re most excited about as we can now select where on the screen we want our popup to appear.
The options are bottom right, bottom left, top right, top left, and center.
Why you would want to use this becomes clear when you see below…
#3 – Show or Disable Background
Don’t like the background of your lightbox popup? Do you wish that you could remove it completely so that the blog is visible?
Well, now you can.
And if you have your popup off to one corner of the page, you can make it appear without a background so that people can see the content still.
We will soon be rolling out new designs to make this work even better.
#4 – Change Background Color
If you’re bored of the plain black background for your lightbox, you can now change the color to suit your website’s design, by simply selecting the color in with the color picker.
This is a small adjustment which will help you to make your popup appear exactly how you want it to look, to suit your tastes and design.
#5 – Adjust Background Opacity
As well as completely removing the background, or changing the colour, you can now decide exactly how transparent you want the background to be.
It might be that you only want to hide the background slightly, so you may set it to 20%, or you want the background to be completely opaque and the colour of your choice, in which case, you’d select the opacity to be 100%.
I’m personally quite excited at the prospect of completely cutting off the web page and only displaying the popup, and this will be one of the first things I A/B test.
These new features are currently in the Beta test phase, and if you would like to try them for yourself before the update is sent out, you can do so by accessing the download page here.
Look for: Download WordPress Plugin (v3.5.6) Beta
You will need your ClickBank Order number to access the page.
Once you’ve downloaded the new version, simply deactivate and delete the current PopUp Domination you have installed, and then upload this in its place. All of your popups will still be there.
